๐Ÿชก Product & Materials

Q4: What's included in a kit? A: Every kit is a complete set! You'll receive:

  • High-quality, pre-cut Aida fabric.

  • Pre-sorted cotton embroidery floss (numbered/symbol-coded).

  • Tapestry needles.

  • An easy-to-follow, printed pattern chart.

Q5: Is this suitable for beginners? A: Absolutely! Cross stitching is designed for everyone. If you can count and make basic "X" shaped stitches, you can create a masterpiece. It's the perfect relaxing hobby to start.

Q6: Are the materials high quality and safe? A: Yes, completely. Our kits feature premium, colorfast cotton floss that resists fading, and our fabrics are carefully selected for durability, ensuring your finished piece lasts for years to come.

๐Ÿงต Stitching Guide & Troubleshooting

Q7: My thread keeps tangling or knotting. What should I do? A: Tangles happen to the best of us! To prevent them, cut your thread into shorter lengths (about 18-20 inches). While stitching, let your needle dangle freely every so often to allow the thread to naturally untwist.

Q8: My fabric has creases. How do I fix it? A: Creases from folding are completely normal. The best fix is to gently iron the back of the fabric on a medium setting before you begin. Using an embroidery hoop or scroll frame while stitching will also keep the fabric taut and smooth.

Q9: What's the best way to start stitching? A: We recommend:

  • Start from the center of your fabric and your pattern to ensure your design is perfectly placed and you don't run out of room on the edges.

  • Wash your hands before stitching to keep the fabric and threads clean.

  • Pay attention to thread count: Check your instructions to see how many strands of floss you should use (usually 2 strands for standard 14-count Aida).

  • Stitch one color/symbol at a time in a specific area.

๐Ÿ“ธ Custom Kits

Q10: How does the custom cross stitch kit work? A: It's easy! Upload your photo, and our designers will convert it into a detailed cross-stitch pattern. We then produce your custom chart, sort the necessary threads, and package your kit. The entire process adds just a few extra days before shipping.

Q11: What makes a good photo for a custom kit? A: Choose a high-resolution, well-lit photo with a clear subject and good contrast. Avoid blurry, overly dark, or cluttered images, as these do not translate as cleanly into cross-stitch patterns.

๐Ÿ” Returns & Support

Q12: What is your return policy? A: We offer a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on all non-custom kits. If you're unsatisfied, contact us for a return within 30 days of delivery. Custom kits are final sale due to their personal nature. See full details here.

Q13: I'm missing a thread color or my item is damaged. What do I do? A: We sincerely apologize! Please contact our support team within 30 days at service@everycrossstitch.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will promptly send replacements free of charge.

Q14: Can I get more thread if I run out? A: We intentionally provide extra floss in every kit, so it's very rare to run out if used as intended. However, if you believe your kit was short on a specific color, please contact our support team with your order details, and we'll happily review your case and help you out.
